Children's Friendly Attractions in Paris

Families from different parts of the world visit Paris every single day. Of course, the children’s tastes are different from that of an adult’s. Looking for a place where they will enjoy can be a little daunting. To help you with the places for your kids to go to, here are the destinations for kids in Paris.

Paris may not look kid-friendly attractions in Paris at first glance. Those tiresome metro tunnels and stairs; the endless list of cultural attractions that seem a bit daunting, especially for younger children. The city seems built primarily for culturally savvy adults.

It always sounds glamorous when I tell people that my wife and I split our time between Paris and Rome. But that runway-model images wears off pretty quickly when I mention that we have three kids and a dog and spend far less time sipping kirs at sidewalk cafes than stacking the kids on top of each other in order to fit ourselves on the metro during a rush-hour dash to school, tourist attraction in Paris  debating the pros and cons of each arondissement’s public pool

The Eiffel Tower
the Eiffel Tower is a good place to visit. You can have your child see the great expanse and ambiance of Paris way up in elevations, looking over a great view of the city. Truly a marvel of engineering and the most recognizable icon of Paris itself, the Eiffel Tower, standing at around 300 meters high, is an absolute must for any tourist’s checklist.

Cité des Sciences de Paris La Villette
a good place to go to is the Cite des Sciences et de l’Industrie of the Parc de la Villette in Paris 19th Arrondissement. This fun hands-on science museum, which is the biggest of its kind in all of Europe, will surely fascinate your child with its many exhibits in the fields of biology, anatomy, chemistry, physics, astronomy, among others. Expect your child’s learning to be further enriched by these massive scientific and astronomical collections.

Centre Georges Pompidou
Another great destination would be the Centre Georges Pompidou (or Centre Beaubourg), a museum located in Paris 4th Arrondissement. It has a wonderful collection of modern art within its uniquely designed building. Aside from paintings and sculptures, it also has cinema, concerts, and children’s activities. This is a perfect way of initiating social interaction in your kids.

A cruise on the river Seine
Don’t miss out taking a ferry to the Seine River. This UNESCO World Heritage site is known for its majestic beauty and splendor. Taking a leisure stroll on its shorelines will help your kids appreciate the beauty of nature. What’s more, there’s no need for you to pay any fee, unless you’re going to take a boat ride. Thus, fun and economy work hand in hand when you’re in the Seine.

Disneyland Paris
Finally, the ultimate children’s destination in the area is Disneyland Resort Paris. Located at Marne-la-Vallée at the eastern suburbs of Paris, it is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Europe today. It is open all year round, features two theme parks,
